Faq's Fabrics
Do
you have questions about our gown fabrics and trims
or would you like
to see swatch cards before ordering your garment. Please
read below the comments below and if you can not find
the answer to your question please
contact us.
Can I see fabric swatches before ordering?
We do have fabric swatches available for purchase with fabrics such as crushed panne, stretch
velvet, chiffon and accents. You may see our
Fabrics for more information.
Can I change the fabric of my gown?
Our garments are available in the fabrics and colors listed on
our product pages. Most styles are made with crushed velour and stretch
velvet complemented with
brocade, lace and chiffon. You may see our
Fabrics for more information.
Can
I have my gown made with a satin fabric?
We
we currently work with stretch velvet and crushed panne
fabrics with accents of lace, organza and chiffon. We may offer a line of bridal gowns, bridesmaids and
prom dresses that are complimented with satin in the
future, though.
Is velvet or crushed panne much hotter
than satin, silk or chiffon?
Whether you are hot or not depends more on your gown
style than the fabric, since most fabrics are made from
a the same or similar fiber content. If you are having a
summer wedding, choosing a sleeveless style in any
fabric should be just fine.
Can
I wear velvet for a summer wedding?
If you are having a summer
wedding, you may want to choose a sleeveless or strapless
corset style to stay cooler. If you want a lighter,
flowing look than pairing a velvet top with a chiffon
skirt in any length would be perfect.
Is
velvet and crushed panne a heavy fabric?
Although these fabrics look rich and heavy, panne is a lighter weight
fabric and velvet is medium
weight. The weight comes more from the amount of fabric
used on a gown and if the garment is fully lined. For more
info, see our
Fabrics.
